Collaborative Law – Divorce with Dignity
In a Nutshell
Collaborative Law is a divorce process which creates the outcomes for your family, which both you and your partner have control over.
A divorce process WITHOUT going to court, whereby you, your partner and both your collaboratively trained lawyers work together to get the best results for your family.
“Communication not Confrontation”
All over the UK there are groups of professionals (Pods), solicitors (legal), family consultants (emotional), and financial experts working to raise awareness of this relatively new way of getting divorced. These collective groups of divorce professionals give their time and energy to getting the message of Collaborative Law out to the public.
As a Life Coach, Sue Lindsay helps her clients through the painful trauma of divorce and is passionate about the ‘Collaborative cause’, as it enables divorcing couples to create their own way forward. Rather than decisions being made by other people, i.e. court officials.

As a collaboratively trained lawyer who has worked with clients both within the collaborative process and the “traditional” way I have seen the damage that divorce/ separation can do to couples and their children. I would thoroughly recommend the collaborative approach where appropriate including the input of non-lawyer experts
